Our North Carolina Christmas Tree Farm is the best place for you to stop and search for your Fraser Fir Christmas Tree this holiday season. Typically, we begin to gear up for the NC Choose n Cut Tree Farm season in October and are ready for visitors and tree hunters to start coming to the farm in mid- to late November. This is the perfect time to select an NC Christmas Tree to take home and the perfect time to getaway and enjoy some time with your loved ones. During the height of the NC Choose n Cut Tree Farm season, many popular events and holiday parades take place. Some of the biggest and most popular weekends are the ASU Football home game weekends that are scheduled around this time period.

This 2009 ASU Football season, there are home games on November 7 (which is also Education Day) against rival Chattanooga, and on November 21 against Western Carolina. Oftentimes, our home team does so well during the regular season that they make the Play Off season afterwards. These games are not scheduled until later. In addition to the ASU Home Football games that take place during the holiday period, a few of the Appalachian State Men's Basketball games are scheduled as well. On Saturday November 28, the ASU Men's team will play Morgan State at 3pm at the ASU Convocation Center. If you are planning to come up and find an NC Christmas Tree at our Boone NC Choose n Cut Tree Farm, then get out and enjoy the party that will most certainly be going on around town.

The ASU Home football games are just one type of crowd pleasing event that usually happens during our favorite time of the year. Other things like the ASU Performing Arts Series events and shows, the Boone NC Christmas Parade, the Blowing Rock Christmas Parade and the Banner Elk Christmas Parade all typically take place early in the month of December on weekends that are hugely popular with vacationers hunting for Boone NC Christmas Trees. Learn more about where to stay while in town, where to eat, and the interesting things going on in town during this time like the ASU Performing Arts Series events that occur right around and after the Thanksgiving Day holiday, and the great skiing conditions at the nearby NC Ski Resorts. Most people like to come to the mountains near Boone NC to our NC Tree Farm during and after the long holiday and right before the Christmas season begins.
